Camden City, N.J.- Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a man on Wednesday evening in Camden City, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

On January 10, 2024, at 5:22 p.m., Camden County Police responded to the 100 block of Rand Street after receiving a 911 call for the report of a deceased male. Upon arrival, officers and EMS located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was identified as 59-year-old Kyle Young of Camden City, and he was pronounced deceased at 5:24 p.m.

This investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
