William A. Baker, 82, of Haddon Township; Served in Armed Forces for 35 Years

Haddon Township – On December 10, 2023. Age 82. Loving and devoted husband of 42 years to Arlene M. Baker (nee Moore). Loving father of William, IV (Debbie), Karen Reis (Mark), Paula Kohn (Matt), Sean (Holly), Travis (Jennifer) and the late Trent Baker. Cherished grandfather of Zabrina Fagen (Kevin), Dezaree Waller (Frank), Christina, Steven, Finn, Luna and Abbey and great-grandfather of Trent, Frankie, Layla, Rowan and Talulah. Beloved brother of Miriam O’Dennis (Bill). Son of the late William and Miriam (nee Deerr) Baker.

Bill was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School class of 1960. He proudly served our country for 35 years in the US Army including Air Defense Artillery, 112th Artillery and the 114th INF. Bill was a member of the 114th Regimental INF Association and the Army & Navy Union Garrison 52.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday morning, December 18th from 10 to 11:30 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Holy Saviour Church, 50 Emerald Avenue, Westmont. Mass of Christian Burial 11:45 AM in the church. Interment with military honors will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
