DEPTFORD, NJ --THEY WON! Congrats to the Uszaki for winning the trophy on the recent episode of The Great Christmas Light Fight. They brought it home for the entire South Jersey and Philly community - way to make us all so proud. Hundreds of guests came out to the GLOW Light Show for the viewing party. 



Dan, Kim, Charleigh Chase Uszaki, and Deptford Dazzling Lights presented a Video Game 80s themed light show at their home in Deptford - and most pieces have now been moved to GLOW. They used the $50,000 prize money to help create GLOW - an even bigger light show and attraction - and this is all because Dan and his family live and breath and love Christmas and wanted to spread Christmas joy to the community all these years.

Dan Uszaki and his family have for many years presented one of the county's most over-the-top light shows at their home in Deptford, NJ, called Deptford Dazzling Lights. They had thousands of people drive by and have 15K followers on Facebook. The cult following it developed made the family want to do more, expand and share the Christmas job with more people!

Their house and display was picked as one of the best in America and they will compete and represent the SJ/Philadelphia region on The Great Christmas Light Fight tonight. Will they bring home the trophy for best Christmas bling for our region? Tune in and find out.

GLOW AND DEPTFORD DAZZLING DISTRICT:

Dan and his family took their home display and went BIG this year - and moved the pieces to their new giant light show called GLOW - in GLOUCESTER COUNTY. You can see signature installations from the episode in the much expanded new light show called GLOW at 217 Berlin Cross Keys Road in Williamstown, NJ 08081 - this is also considered Washington Township. They spent nearly a year expanding, building and creating GLOW - this is not a light show with things you can get at the store or buy or order - they made it, designed it - and it is aiming to be one of the most technologically advanced light shows in America.


The general public for the drive-in GLOW light show and Dazzling District is 5-8pm; then the viewing party opens at 9:00pm at Dazzling District. There will be shows on the World's Tallest LED Snowman - the episode featured on a giant screen, ferris wheel rides, food and games for purchase, DJ and more festivities- plus come meet the famous family!

GLOW! The Light Show in Washington Township is a mesmerizing pop-up drive-through event that marks the evolution of an extraordinary journey in Christmas lighting. GLOW PRESENTS DAZZLING DISTRICT:

The Dazzling District, a distinct and thrilling, directly adjacent to the GLOW! Light Show, invites you into a world filled with festive wonders. Central to this holiday haven is Santa’s Winter Workshop, offering unforgettable moments like photos with Santa. Witness the spectacle of the 45 ft LED Snowman Show, an animated marvel visible from all three rides, including the soaring Ferris Wheel and the enchanting train ride with its Mini Glow! Light Show for younger guests. Savor the holiday atmosphere with live band appearances, a Christmas DJ, and indulgent winter treats like hot chocolate. Engage in carnival games, explore unique retail offerings, and enjoy a wide array of selection from food trucks, all in this standalone realm of holiday magic.

WORLD'S LARGEST LED SNOWMAN

After research, organizers believe this is the largest animated LED snowman in the world. The World of Illuminations was the biggest documented snowman prior to this week at 32 feet. The snowman at GLOW! will be 45 feet - and also be wider at nearly 35 foot width with the arms.
This was PROUDLY custom designed and built by the local community in South Jersey!

THEME ZONES FOR GLOW

* Old Fashioned Christmas with everything from candy canes, prancing reindeer, angels on high, singing Christmas trees, with a surprise or two for the Swifties and Football fans

* Music Lane will bring the sounds of the season to life as you drive through floating music notes, 10-20 foot tall music instruments, giant boom box speakers, 40 foot long electrifying guitar experience and other surprises paying tribute to the Christmas carol classics - with a special appearance from South Jersey's version of Lil Jon

* 12 Days of Christmas will have visitors counting down to the 12 days of Christmas with light displays bringing the iconic story to life from the partridge in the pear tree to 12 drummers drumming, and everything in between.

* Jersey Shore will have visitors heading back to the beach from Ocean City to Cape May with mermaids, singing crabs, beach buckets and more fun in the winter sun.

* Gingerbread will give off those fresh baked whimsical vibes from displays with oversized Gingerbread cookies, houses, Santas and Christmas characters.

* Stockings will have visitors dreaming about Christmas morning with giant stockings, 8 foot tall singing holiday bulbs and whimsical snowflakes.

* Nutcracker Row features all the Nutcrackers guarding the entrance to the

* Glowing Light Tunnel that is 250 feet long complete with unique high-tech LED bulbs that dance their way into the winter nights.

* Video Game Blitz will pay tribute to the gamers of today and days of old with giant game Nintendo and Playstation controllers, game-inspired characters (hello, Mine Craft fans!), 16 foot tall arcade machine, Mike Tyson punch-out characters singing the Christmas hits and other high tech surprises.

* Space will have space saucers, reindeer aliens and take kids on a fun intergalactic trip out of this world for a mini-light experience.

* Land of Games and Toys will feature gigantic Chess Pieces, Ski-Ball Machine, Gingerbread Men and other things from the family toy room.
