Last week the dedicated South State Crew hit the pavement to enhance our community. They were hard at work on CR 656 Parkville Station Road in West Deptford, focusing on the intersection of Parkville Station and Kings Highway.

Roadway Patching Magic:

CR 555 Tuckahoe Road in Washington Township

CR 694 Monroeville Road in South Harrison Township

Our skilled crews worked their patching prowess to ensure smooth and safe travels along these routes. Their commitment to maintaining our roads is a true testament to their dedication.


Snow Drift Defenders:

CR 655 Fries Mill Road near Grant Avenue in Franklin Township

Snow fences were strategically installed along CR 655 Fries Mill Road to stand guard against winter's snow drifts. This proactive measure ensures road safety during winter storms, especially crucial in our farm-dotted landscapes.


Inlet Cleanup Champions:

CR 651 Greentree Road in Washington Township

With an eye on the forecast, our crew members took proactive steps by cleaning inlets along CR 651 Greentree Road ahead of a rainstorm. Their foresight helps prevent flooding, keeping our roads and community resilient in the face of inclement weather.

Last week, our dedicated Public Works Crews were hard at work, ensuring our roadways are safe and well-maintained. Here's a glimpse of the tasks accomplished:


Boom Mowing on CR 635 and CR 553: Crews performed boom mowing along CR 635 in Pitman as well as on CR 553 Buck Road in Elk Township.


Shoulder Cleanup and Downed Tree Removal on CR 694 Monroeville Road in South Harrison: Tackling the aftermath of nature, crews worked diligently to clean up shoulders and remove downed trees, ensuring smooth passage for all.


Patch Truck at Work on CR 608 Clayton Avenue in Elk: Crews utilized a patch truck to address road imperfections on CR 608.
