Janet Gall, (nee Gibison) Age 90, of National Park, Raised in Gloucester City
Wednesday, December 06, 2023
On Dec 3, 2023, Janet Florence Gall (nee Gibison) was reunited in love with her late husband Auggie on their 63rd wedding anniversary. She peacefully went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family.
Janet was born on August 7, 1933, and never missed a year on the Wildwood beach, even this past year, her 90th. She was born in Gloucester City and raised on Hudson Street. She lived and raised her family in National Park for 53 years. Janet held her faith dear and was a lifelong member of the Bible Church of Westville. She loved music and cheered on the Bonsal Blues Band at numerous concerts, parades, and rehearsals. She shared the joy of each special holiday with a card to her grandkids. Janet enjoyed her ice cream and sweets, and Oh! Those Wildwood days! She worked at Bell Telephone before spending many years in the lunch room at the National Park school. Janet was first and foremost a homemaker and most devoted wife. Her proudest and most joyful moments were as a mother and grandmother.
Janet’s family is her legacy and her life was her testimony. She was happily married to and adored her late husband Adolph “Aug” Gall Jr. Janet and her daughter Lorrie were inseparable and shared many adventures at Boscovs, the boardwalk, and “Red Rooster”. Janet is also the devoted mother of Gus and Lynne (Schwarz) and the proud grandmother of Emily, Matthew and Madi. Janet was predeceased by her sister Mary Havens. She invested so much in those around her and will be sadly missed by so many friends and neighbors.
Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the Gall family. Janet’s celebration of life will be on Friday morning 12/8/2023 with visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes, 700 Powell St., Gloucester. A remembrance ceremony will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lorrie Gall ℅ Creran Celebration 700 Powell St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030 so that she can recognize those who helped care so lovingly for Janet these last few years.
