GTPD RespondS to Large Fight at Highland HS

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (December 23, 2023)(CNBNews)--On Friday December 22, 2023 at approximately 11:48AM the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to Highland High School to assist the School Resource Officer with a large fight. A large number of police officers arrived to find three separate fights in the hallways just prior to dismissal for winter break.
The Gloucester Township Police Officers were able to take control of the scene that had over 100 students in the area.
One student suffered minor injuries during the fight.
At this time all students have been dismissed safely.
The incident is currently under investigation by the GTPD Juvenile and Family Services Bureau.
