Lebanon Valley College Recognizes Fall Student-Athletes

ANNVILLE, PA (11/30/2023)-- Lebanon Valley College recognized more than 200 student-athletes who competed for Flying Dutchmen athletic teams this fall.

Local students include:

Mikayla Mitchell of Pitman (08071), a graduate of Pitman High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science at The Valley.

Mitchell was a member of the women's soccer team. The Lebanon Valley College women's soccer team concluded the 2023 season with a 5-8-2 overall record. A highlight of this fall for the Flying Dutchmen was their three-game winning streak in October, including a pair of Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom victories over Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham Campus and Delaware Valley University.

Kevin Donahue of Sewell (08080), a graduate of Clearview Regional High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science at The Valley.

Donahue was a member of the men's soccer team. The Lebanon Valley College men's soccer team finished this season with a dominant 13-2-4 overall record, advancing to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom Final during its first year in the conference. The team received its highest national ranking in program history this fall, as LVC was listed at No. 6 in the United Soccer Coaches poll in early October.

Charles McCormick of Woodbury Heights (08097), a graduate of Gateway Regional High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in actuarial science at The Valley.

McCormick was a member of the men's soccer team. The Lebanon Valley College men's soccer team finished this season with a dominant 13-2-4 overall record, advancing to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom Final during its first year in the conference. The team received its highest national ranking in program history this fall, as LVC was listed at No. 6 in the United Soccer Coaches poll in early October.

Richard Chandler of West Berlin (08091), a graduate of Saint Joseph Academy, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science at The Valley.

Chandler was a member of the football team. The Lebanon Valley College football team concluded the 2023 season with a 6-5 overall record, earning its second straight postseason appearance. The Dutchmen wrapped up the year in the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series against Muhlenberg College on Nov. 18.
