Turlough Gartlan, Ryan Cleary, Mason Martelloni and Luke Yates have been named to the All-Conference Second Team with Ryan Gale receiving Honorable Mention.

Troiano (Hazlet, NJ/St. John Vianney), a sophomore, is the team’s leading scorer with 35 points (15 goals and five assists) and has recorded five multiple-goal games this season, including a three-goal effort vs. CCNY. Troiano, who earns All-NJAC honors for the first time, has four game-winning goals, including in two of the last three games.

Caputo (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) ranks second on the team in scoring with 13 points and is the team’s top playmaker with seven assists. The sophomore has scored three goals on the year, with two in conference games, as he is selected to the All-Conference team for the first time.

Gartlan (Haworth, NJ/Northern Valley), a junior, is named to the All-NJAC team for the first time as he was key in the midfield for the Profs. The team co-captain has also recorded three goals and handed out an assist, while notching the game-winning goals in two victories.

Yates (Ocean Twp., NJ/Ocean Twp.) a senior, is a repeat selection to the All-NJAC Second Team in the midfield. The team co-captain notched two goals and two assists, with all of his points coming in conference games.

Cleary (Turnersville, NJ/Washington Twp.) and Martelloni (Tinton Falls, NJ/Monmouth Regional) both earn spots on the Second Team after receiving Honorable Mention in 2022, as the players solidified the defense that allowed just 19 goals in 16 matches.

Cleary, a sophomore, posted one goal this season in a win over William Paterson. Martelloni, a senior, has a goal and two assists to his credit.

Gale (Runnemede, NJ/Triton Regional) earns his first All-Conference selection. A sophomore forward, he has four goals and one assist, including a game-winning goal against Ramapo.

Rowan (9-3-5) will be seeking its second straight NJAC title when the second-seeded Profs visit top-seeded Montclair State on Saturday at 7 p.m. Rowan defeated Kean, 1-0, yesterday to advance to its fourth consecutive conference championship game.
