Eugene J. McLaughlin “Jeep” on October 28, 2023, of the Lakebridge section of Deptford, Age 94. Beloved husband of Jean McLaughlin (nee Moen). Father of Joseph McLaughlin (Marilyn) of Tennessee, Ronald McLaughlin (Barbara) of Virginia, Paula Green of Florida, Richard Hubbs of Gloucester City, and Alice Sharp (John) of Washington Twp. Thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Eugene was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a life member of the Brooklawn Fire Company, a member of the New Jersey State Fireman’s Association for 67 years and a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Westville. He had worked as an installer for Western Electric Company for more than 30 years. Upon retirement he enjoyed volunteering on the U.S. Battleship New Jersey and travelling with Jean.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing Friday, November 3, 2023, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, November 4, 10 to 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Boucher Funeral Home, 1757 Delsea Dr., Deptford.

Funeral Home service Saturday, 11 a.m. in the Chapel at the funeral home. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville.
