Two Gunpoint Stranger Rapes in 12th District of Philadelphia

Between 10/14/23 and 10/15/23, there have been two reported gunpoint Stranger Rapes in the 12th District. This pattern is based on modus operandi, description of offender & geographical location.
On 10/14/23, 3:00AM on the 1600 block of S. 55th St.
A female complainant reported that she was inside her vehicle at the traffic light located at 55th and Kingsessing Avenue when the offender approached her vehicle, pointed a small black handgun at her, and demanded money. The complainant gave the offender $20.00, he then ordered her to unlock the car doors, and then got into her vehicle and directed her to 49th and St. Bernard St., where he sexually assaulted complainant. The offender then drove the complainant to an ATM and told her to withdraw money, which she did. Shortly after receiving the money, the male exited the vehicle and left the area.
Offender: Unknown B/M, thin build, mid-twenties, wearing dark gray sweatpants, gray hoody, blue mask.
On 10/15/23, 5:00 PM, on the 1100 block of S. Paxon St.
A female complainant reported she was walking in the area of 5100 Springfield Ave.When she approached 1100 S. Paxon St., an unknown B/M came up behind her, pointed a silver handgun at her side, and demanded money. The complainant gave the male $25.00 and some prescription medication. The male then force the complainant to an alleyway in the rear of Paxon Street where she was sexually assaulted. The male then fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
Offender: Unknown B/M, thin build, wearing dark pants, blue hoody, blue mask, red Phillies hat with white P. with a silver handgun
