Three People Stabbed in Glassboro, Suspect Arrested

GLASSBORO, NJ (October 31, 2023)(CNBNews)--On Friday, October 27, 2023, at approximately 11:22 P.M., officers from the Glassboro Police Department were dispatched to Oakwood Avenue for the report of (3) individuals who had been stabbed. Upon arrival, they discovered (3) adult males from Brick, New Jersey, suffering knife wounds. Two victims were transported to Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, while the third was transported to Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill. A joint investigation was initiated by the Glassboro Police Department and the GCPO, rapidly leading to the identification of a suspect.
Several hours later, the suspect, 20-year-old Michael Hill of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, was stopped by the New Jersey State Police walking on the shoulder of nearby Route 55. Hill was taken into custody and has been charged with the following offenses:
Aggravated Assault: 2C:12-1B(1) (3) Counts
Possession of Weapon for Unlawful Purpose: 2C:39-4D
Possession of a Weapon: 2C:39-4D
Hill was processed and then lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility pending further proceedings.
Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of their rights as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State Law.
