Rowan's Fara Named NJAC Football Offensive Player of the Week

PITMAN, NJ -- James Fara has been selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week as the league announced its weekly awards.

The senior scores his second career honor and first this season from the NJAC as Fara ran for a career-high 203 yards on 23 carries along with two TDs against #9 Johns Hopkins on Saturday. The senior added a 74-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Fara leads the NJAC with 333 yards on the ground on 65 attempts (5.1 ypc) with two scores and five receptions for 22 yards on the season.

Rowan (1-3) begins conference play this Saturday when the Profs visit TCNJ in a 3 p.m. kickoff.
