MT. EPHRAIM NJ On Monday, October 23rd. Mount Ephraim's Police Department will be visited and evaluated by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. A successful evaluation will give them accreditation, a highly prized recognition of law enforcement excellence.
The department will be evaluated on policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services. As a part of the on-site process, employees and the public are invited to provide input to the assessment team by either telephone or e-mail.
The NJSACOP's most current website has only 31 cities/towns with the accreditation. Mount Ephraim, if successful, will be the 32nd. Most of the police departments are in North Jersey, but in our neck of the woods are Voorhees, Margate City, Avalon, Willingboro, Stone Harbor, Cape May, and Salem County's Sheriff's Department.
If you want to add your input to the assessment, you can call 609-413-6588 for one hour only (10:00 to 11:00 am on October 23rd) or e-mail [email protected] any time.)
