As part of our mission to drive day and overnight leisure visits to Philadelphia and the surrounding region, we’ve ramped up our efforts to explore our city’s neighborhoods, attractions, and neighboring counties this year.

Our External Affairs team organized immersive, day-long, staff outings to explore Fairhill, Chinatown, Germantown, North Broad Street, Centro de Oro, the Italian Market, and Bucks County. Our entire staff was encouraged to participate in these tours where we had the chance to speak to the people who live, work and create in these communities, visit the popular attractions and discover new ones.

These explorations empower our team to make well-informed decisions in our communications, social media, and marketing campaigns, turning potential visitors into actual ones.

While each vibrant county around us has its dedicated marketing organization—like Visit Bucks County, Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board, Visit Delco, and Chester County Tourism—we also collaborate closely with neighborhood associations, business districts, and stakeholders. This combined effort allows us to uncover and share the stories that make Philadelphia a can't-miss destination.

Simply put: we are stronger together.
