HELP WANTED: Become a Maryland Fisheries Advisor

The Atlantic Coastal Cooperative Statistics Program (ACCSP) is a partner of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and the principal source of marine fishery statistics for the Atlantic coast. This program needs Maryland fisheries advisors. Maryland may select up to one recreational and one commercial advisor.

The Advisory Panel provides advice to the  Coordinating Council on annual funding decisions and other program priorities, and they often work closely with the Operations Committee. For more information, see the guidelines for panel members.

In the past, we've had both recreational fisheries and commercial fisheries advisors. Interested candidates should be familiar with the collection and/or use of commercial or recreational fisheries data. If you are interested in being nominated to the advisory panel for ACCSP, please contact Stephanie Richards at stephanie.[email protected] by December 1.
