Lions Win Third Straight Defeat Audubon 43 - 6

The Gloucester City Lions improved to 3- 1 overall when they defeated visiting Audubon 43 - 6 in Conference play. Audubon entered the game at 2 - 0 behind QB Breyson McCracken and Wide Out Luke Hoke who combined for 4 Td's in the Green Waves 2 win start. Both McCracken and Hoke were not allowed to make an impact against a Lions stubborn defense.

The underrated Lions defense led by Seniors Jake Zearfoss, Kaleb Wright, Caiden Elmore,  Justice Dolson and Shurke Copeland have account for 71 tackles while Juniors Trevin Burkhardt and Kadon Harris have provided their input with 21 tackles.

In the 3 game winning streak the Offense has put 138 points on the board while the Defense has allowed a misleading 27 points with 13 of those points scored late in the game against the younger Lions.
