GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (September 2, 2023)(CNBNews)--Recently, a resident of Gloucester City named Willard Hatcher had his Ford van stolen. The van was not only his mode of transportation but also held sentimental value as he had used it for work and recreational purposes. It was parked in front of his home near the intersection of Johnson Blvd. and Hudson Street when it was stolen. Willard lost his fishing and work gear, tools that belonged to his father, ladders, and other belongings that were worth approximately $10,000. He depends on the van for his livelihood and is therefore devastated.
Willard's family created a GoFundMe page to raise money to replace the stolen van. They are grateful that hundreds of people have shared posts on social media to help spread the word. Willard's family believes he is one of the nicest human beings you could meet, as he's an avid, lifelong outdoorsman in his 70s who has taught many people about wildlife while respecting it.
The family hopes to raise enough funds to help Willard purchase a used van that needs work for $3,500 and replace some of the tools he lost. They understand that Willard would never ask for help, but hope that those who are able will contribute to their cause. If you would like to help, please click the link below. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
