Frank Malloy, of Bellmawr, age 78, Cement Mason, Vietnam War Navy Veteran, Camden Catholic HS Alum

Francis (Frank) Joseph Malloy, Jr, age 78 years of Bellmawr, was suddenly called home to be with the Lord and his Blessed Mother on August 17th, 2023, the feast day of Our Lady of Knock, while visiting the Knock Shrine in County Mayo, Ireland. He was surrounded by his family and the prayers of many devout pilgrims who helped make his passing more peaceful. The fact that Frank was called to eternity with the Lord and his Blessed Mother at this particular time and place was a testament to his immense Catholic faith and unwavering Marian devotion.

Frank is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Sandy, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, children Michael (Lori) Malloy and Kelly Malloy, grandsons Michael Malloy and Luke Malloy, and sister Margaret (Paul) Dombrosky. He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Francis J. Malloy, Sr, and his brother Edward Malloy.

Frank graduated from Camden Catholic High School, proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era, and ultimately moved back home to New Jersey where he was a cement mason until his retirement.

Frank will always be cherished by his family as a role model of faith, love, devotion, and strong moral character. He was well-liked by many friends who appreciated his loyalty, quick wit, and dry sense of humor. He took things in stride, knowing that a higher power was always in control.
Frank was very fortunate to receive a life-saving kidney transplant in early 2022. His family will always be grateful for the gift that his donor and their family made to improve Frank's quality of life.
