Dwelling Fire in Glendora, Two People Displaced

GLENDORA, NJ (SEPTEMBER 30, 2023)(CNBNews)--On Friday, September 29, 2023, at approximately 9:45 pm, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the 400 block of Main Street located in the Glendora section of Gloucester Township for a report of a dwelling fire. Arriving officers found smoke and flames coming from the residence. The fire was called in by a neighbor walking their dog.
Gloucester Township Fire Departments from Glendora, Chews Landing, Blackwood, along with Bellmawr, Runnemede, Somerdale and Magnolia Fire Departments arrived and gained control of the fire. Inspira BLS and Rehab 2 also assisted.
The multi - family home was occupied by one resident at the time of the fire. A total of two people were displaced due to the fire and smoke damage.
There were no injuries reported.
At this time the fire does not appear suspicious and will remain under investigation by Camden County Fire Marshal and Glendora Fire Department Station 81 Fire Marshal.
