Don’t Forget…Gloucester City Community Clean-Up Sat.

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (September 13, 2023)(CNBnews)--Please note that the City of Gloucester City has scheduled its Community Clean-Up Day for Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The event will begin at the Community Center on Nicholson Road (old Gloucester Heights Fire Hall). We kindly ask that you mark this important date on your calendars.

Please note that the date for the clean-up day was changed in order to accommodate the shredding company. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. 

 

A meeting for the clean-up day has been scheduled for Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Front Office of Public Works Main Office. The meeting will begin at 2:45 p.m. During the meeting, each group will be requested to fill out a form indicating their first and second site preference choices for the clean-up day. 

 

On the day of the Community Clean-Up Day, all necessary tools, equipment, trash bags, and gloves will be provided at the community center on Nicholson Road. Refreshments will also be available. 

 

In case of rain on the above date, please contact Alex Tedesco to reschedule. We will accept other clean-up dates up to two weeks past the scheduled event. Please note that if you do not submit your paperwork prior to the actual clean-up day, you will not be permitted to participate or earn the stipend.
