Where to Sip, Shop and Tailgate for the Philadelphia Eagles 2023 season
It’s Bird Season in Philadelphia, and everyone is celebrating!
Below are the top places to grab a beer and a bite to eat while watching the game, where to shop for the best Eagles merchandise around town, and where to tailgate before the games this season.

Tranquility Brewing, best known as the former astronaut training facility for G-force Training on Mercury, Gemini and Apollo Space Missions in Bucks County, is introducing a new beer this year in time for the Eagles season. The new beer, appropriately called “The Eagle Has Landed” is a Brown Ale and is available during all
games, in addition to their other drafts, for $5 pints. Each week they will also feature their Signature Wings, available in your choice of five house made sauces and paired with a pint of beer for $15, in addition to their popular Crescent Moon quesadillas for $5. During halftime, participate in their weekly Eagles trivia competition for a chance to win Eagles attire and swag, and the opportunity to register (limit one entry per week) to win a pair of tickets to the Eagles vs Cardinals game December 31st, where the winner will be announced during halftime of the December 17th Seahawks game. Tranquility Brewing is open Wednesday and Thursday 3 p.m.- 9 p.m., Friday’s from 3 p.m.- midnight, Saturday’s from 12 p.m.- midnight, and Sunday 12 p.m.- 9 p.m. Tranquility will open on Eagles Monday Night Football games at 5p.m. and close following the conclusion of the game.

Off The Rail, Media’s only rooftop bar, is ready to celebrate the upcoming Eagles season with beer and food special for the whole family. Sundays will be known as ‘Sunday Funday’ with $3 Miller Lite and ½ off wings, with the bar opening at 12:30 p.m. to allow fans to get seated before kickoff. During Monday Night Football games, $3 Miller Lite will be available, and Thursday Night Football features $3 Michelob Ultra specials. During the week, Happy Hour takes place from 4-7p.m. with $3 Domestics and $6 Wines, and daily specials begin immediately following the conclusion of Happy Hour. Daily Specials include the Monday Night Football Miller Lite special, $6 Wine Tuesday’s, $5 White Claw Wednesdays, and the Thursday Night Football Michelob Ultra specials. Off The Rail is open Monday through Friday from 4 a.m.-1 a.m., Saturdays from 1 p.m.-1:30 a.m., and Sundays 1 p.m.- 1 a.m.

The Craft Beer Store Springfield, Delaware County’s premier Bottle Shop and Bar, with over 750 beers to choose from, is celebrating the return of Eagles season with “Go Birds Redzone”. Every Sunday the store will serve $5 rotating draft beers in addition to $2 off Crowlers (to-go only) for your tailgating and party needs. Matt’s famous Beer Dogs, slow cooked in kraut & stout will be available to all guest for $1 on Monday, as well as $2 slices of pizza on Sundays starting at Eagles halftime. Monday and Thursday night games will feature a $5 City Wide special, consisting of Miller Lite and Jameson. Additional specials throughout the week include Buy One Get One 1/2 off Crowlers on Wednesdays and Brewery-Hosted Beer Tastings on Friday's from 5-7pm. The Craft Beer Store is open seven days a week starting September 10, 2023. The new hours will be Monday through Wednesday from 3-11 p.m., Thursday through Saturday from noon-11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m.-7 p.m., with the store staying open late for Eagles Sunday Night Football games on October 22nd (Miami Dolphins) and December 10th (Dallas Cowboys).

Töska Restaurant & Brewery, the newest restaurant to open this year in the Mt. Airy neighborhood, is celebrating their first Eagles season with beer and wings for fans. During all Eagles games, treat yourself to an ice cold beer with $5 pints, which includes their in-house beers, as well as the rotating selection of beer from local breweries in the area. For food, guest can dig into $1 Wood Fired Wings (available in orders of 5), served with a side of the house-made hot sauce. All specials are only available during Eagles games, including Monday, Thursday and Sunday Night games, as well as guest must be seated at the downstairs bar to receive the special. Additional special at Töska include Happy Hour Monday through Thursday from 4-6p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10p.m.-midnight featuring $2 off beers, $8 cocktails and limited bites available on special, with prices ranging from $4-$20. Töska is open Monday through Wednesday from 4 p.m.-10 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m.- 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.- midnight and Sunday from 11a.m.-10 p.m., with brunch available on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 11a.m.- 2 p.m.

Each week the venue will hold free-admission bowling for all ages to enjoy while cheering on the birds. In addition to the bowling, expect to imbibe on ice-cold beverages and bite into delicious food throughout the games. Food specials include $3 Tater Tots, $6 Mac & Cheese Bites, $6 Pretzel bites (served with Cheese or Mustard) and $10 Chick’N Tots. Launching this season, Blessed in Distress, created by Philadelphia local Jen Basile, has created a brand new line of items for the 2023 Eagles season. New items this year include ‘Sunday Lineup: Jetro, Beer, Birds” as well as ‘Sundays in Philly’ featuring the best of the city. Additional options include vintage style ‘Philadelphia Football’ items, all with the ability to add the popular ‘Philly Philly’ patch. Prices range from $60-70 for items and are available with the distress style, or original, cropped or plain, and color options include Black, White, Grey and Green.

This year the brand will introduce new paint splatter player tees, available in any player, plus BirdGang and Winning Is For The Birds tees. Hats include the popular Kelly Green PHI Dad Hat, plus new items such as BirdGang and Dallas Sucks Trucker Hats. Christiana Dunn, known on social media as @HungryByThePlate and @ThirstyByTheGlass, is introducing her Eagles 2023 collection to her merchandise for the first time. Items include $30 hoodies with sayings like ‘Fly Like A Bird’, ‘TGIS: Thank God It’s Sunday’, ‘Beer, Birds, Batman’, and much more. Additionally, a beanie is available for $20 with the saying ‘If you’re reading this, Go birds’ and a trucker hat with the saying ‘It’s A Bad Day To Be a Beer/Go Birds’ is available for $25.50. All proceeds from the Sports Collection purchased until September 31 will be donated to the Wildwood Food Bank, and any orders from October 1st throughout the rest of 2023 will go to Small Things Philly. To celebrate the season, Christiana will be having a pop-up on opening day, September 10th from 11a.m.-6 p.m. at the East Passyunk Pop-Up Market (The Loft On Passyunk: 1919 E. Passyunk Ave) for those who want to purchase merchandise in person.
Tailgate:

New this year to the tailgate scene is Club 215, created by local DJ Kevin Nichols (DJ Kev) and social media personality Dunphy. During each home game, Club 215 will host a tailgate in the G2 Lot of Wells Fargo Center featuring live music from DJ Kev, photos with Dunphy, and more to be announced. The tailgate is free to attend, with the option to RSVP ahead of time for specials including the chance to win Eagles tickets, discounted food and drinks at local businesses around the Philadelphia area, and more!
