GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (August 12, 2023)(CNBNews)--Please join us in celebrating the 175th anniversary of our parish at St. Mary Church in Gloucester City on Sunday, September 17th, 2023. We will honor the past and present students, faculty, and staff of Gloucester Catholic High School and St. Mary Grammar School. We invite you and your family to come together with our current Gloucester Catholic community for the 11:30 am Mass.
St. Mary Parish is the oldest parish in the Diocese of Camden and St. Mary Grammar School and Gloucester Catholic are an integral part of that long and rich tradition. If you were a Hawk or a Ram, we would be honored to celebrate our parish and its historic ties to both schools. The homilist for the Mass will be St. Mary '75 and GC '79 grad, Deacon Joseph Rafferty, a former teacher and coach at Gloucester Catholic.
After Mass, we will have refreshments in the Msgr. Lucitt Hall (Gym) and both school buildings will be available for tours. Come reminisce with schoolmates and friends about the good ol' days. Take a step or two back in time and be a part of this momentous occasion.
We look forward to seeing you there. The event will be held on Sunday, September 17th, 2023, at 11:30 am at St. Mary Church, Gloucester City. Refreshments will be available following Mass in the Msgr. Lucitt Hall. If you need any additional information, please feel free to contact us.
