(Blackwood, NJ) – For the entire month of August, all adoption fees at Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center will be waived as part of the facility’s Clear the Shelters special. The adoption center is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“We are reaching critically full levels at the shelter, as this is our busiest time of year,” said Commissioner Jonathan Young, liaison to the animal shelter. “We really need the public’s help in finding loving homes for these animals. Please, if you are able, consider opening your heart and your home to a new pet. And if you’re unable to adopt right now, the shelter is always looking for donations.”
