Gcity Resident Michael Kazmar III Needs Your Help With His EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT

Greetings, Friends and Family!

(GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ)(August 29, 2023)(CNBNews)--As many of you know, our 16-year-old son, Michael III, is now a junior at GHS.

A Superintendent's List student since his day at Gloucester Middle School, Michael has been selected by his peers to serve as Unit Commander of GHS' NROTC program for the 2023-24 school year.

He also participates in GHS swimming, track, and cross-country and is a member of Interact, LEO, and Friends of Rachel clubs.

Outside of GHS, Michael lifeguards at Gloucester City Swim Club and is a member of Haddonfield Troop 3064 Scouts BSA.

In November, Michael will perform his Eagle Scout project at The Episcopal Church Of The Ascension on Sussex Street. Under Michael's direction, the Scouts will undertake a town-wide food drive and construct ten sets of 5-6 tier shelving to expand the Gloucester City Helping Hands food pantry into two additional rooms within the former parsonage. In addition, Michael and his crew will replace the felt padding on the pew kneelers in the sanctuary
with new rubber pads.

This is likely the first Eagle Scout project performed in Gloucester City in the last 25 years or more!

On behalf of Michael, I come to all of you with a request:

Will you consider contributing a donation to help fund this worthwhile community project?

Your donation is two-fold assistance: It helps Michael's quest to achieve his Eagle Scout rank and serves a religious institution and the Gloucester City community.

The vast majority of monies collected will be spent within Gloucester City, most notably at Carr's Hardware (with their help and support) and local eateries, as Michael will provide breakfast and lunch for all volunteers on two working Saturdays, November 4 and November 11).
