GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (August 30, 2023)(CNBNews)—On August 29, 2023, authorities arrested six individuals on North Burdsall Avenue in Riverview Heights, following an investigation into rumors of drug and prostitution activity in the residential area. North Burdsall Avenue comprises three single homes, located just a block away from the Cold Spring School and Pre-School complex. The house where the activity allegedly occurred, borders the school complex. Of the six individuals arrested, four were remanded to Camden County Jail. Two were released on their recognizance. Only one person was charged with prostitution, and one person was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The remaining individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants. Their ages ranged between 28 and 53.

Steven Strang, who owns the property at 8 North Burdsall Ave.,  was charged with maintaining a nuisance.

The Gloucester City Police Detective Bureau conducted the investigation.

Those charged are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
