Stephan was born in Woodbury and had spent his early years growing up in Gloucester City. Stevie was a lifetime congregant of the Trinity United Methodist Church. He graduated from Gloucester City High School and continued his education at Pennco Tech. Stevie followed in his family’s footsteps making a career at the Sheetmetal Workers Local 19 in Philadelphia.  Stevie also worked for several moving companies, including Mayflower Moving.

Stevie possessed a natural talent in working with his hands. He was a strong young man who enjoyed the intricacies of working with Lionel trains, remodeling cars, woodworking, and home repair. It was live and loud rock n roll at concerts he loved most! Stevie will fondly be remembered as a generous son, father, and friend who offered compassion to whoever may need it.

Stevie is the son of the late Gordon & his wife Janet (nee Smith) Burrows. He was also predeceased by his late wife Holly (nee Snyder) Burrows. Stevie is survived by and will be sadly missed by his children April Burrows and Christopher Bartee, his siblings; Gordon & his wife Catherine, Susan & her husband Jeffrey Clark, Wendy & her husband Bob Gaff, his faithful companion “Wolfie”, best friend Randy and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the Burrows family. We’ll come together in tribute and thanksgiving on Tuesday morning, August 1, between 10:00 am and 11:00 am at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 700 Powell St., Gloucester City where a remembrance ceremony will begin at 11:00 am. The witness of love’s reunion and the time-honored tradition of reuniting those we love with nature will be held privately.
