Six Delaware Youths Wearing Masks Arrested in Harrison Township, Charged with Burglary

HARRISON TOWNSHIP NJ (July 31, 2023)(CNBNews)--On Sunday, July 30th, at approximately 0400 hours, Harrison Township Officers were dispatched to the area of Windsor and Chelsea Roads in the Leigh Court Estates Development in reference to several males with masks on walking throughout the area.
Officers located a 2022 Kia Sorento, which was later found to be stolen out of Wilmington, Delaware, occupied by a sleeping male wearing a mask. The male was identified as a 15-year-old resident of Middletown, Delaware, and was found to be a wanted person out of New Castle County. The juvenile male was charged with being a fugitive from justice, conspiracy to commit burglary, and receiving stolen property.
Officers received several more calls in reference to suspicious males throughout the area and located five additional suspects:
A 13-year-old male resident of Wilmington, Delaware
A 15-year-old male resident of Wilmington, Delaware
A 16-year-old male resident of Wilmington, Delaware, who was also a wanted person out of Chester, Pennsylvania
An 18-year-old Semaj Lloyd of Wilmington, Delaware, was also wanted out of New Castle County, Delaware.
All of the subjects were charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. The wanted persons were charged with being fugitives from justice and were turned over to those respective jurisdictions. These subjects are believed to be a part of a larger entity responsible for the theft of several vehicles in the tri-state area.
Corporals Kevin McGowan and Kenneth Rodgers, Patrolmen Christopher Foster, and Robert May, and Sergeant Matthew Neely investigated the multiple calls for service. Other assisting agencies included Mantua Township Police, East Greenwich Police, Gloucester County Sheriff's Department, and West Deptford Police K9.
