Route 130 and Route 40 overnight lane closures this week in Gloucester and Salem counties

 

Route 130 Bridge over Rancocas Creek daytime lane closures


(Trenton) – The Route 130 southbound Bridge over Route 44 and Raccoon Creek in Logan, Gloucester County and the Route 40 Bridge over Game Creek in Carney’s Point, Salem County are scheduled to have single lane closures overnight this week. In addition, right lane closures are scheduled on the Route 130 southbound Bridge over Rancocas Creek this week in Delran, Delanco, and Willingboro, Burlington County.

 

Wednesday, July 5

Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, July 5, until 6 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, July 6, the right lane on Route 130 southbound is scheduled to be closed on the Bridge over Route 44 and Raccoon Creek.

 

Thursday, July 6

From 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 6, the right lane is scheduled to be closed on Route 130 southbound on the Bridge over Rancocas Creek.

 

In addition, beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 6, until 6 a.m. Friday, July 7, the right lane on Route 40 eastbound is scheduled to be closed on the Bridge over Game Creek.

 

Friday, July 7

From 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 7, the right lane is scheduled to be closed on Route 130 southbound on the Bridge over Rancocas Creek.

 

In addition, beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, July 7, until 6 a.m. Saturday, July 8, the right lane on Route 40 eastbound is scheduled to be closed on the Bridge over Game Creek.

 

The closures are necessary to make bridge joint and concrete repairs. At least one lane will be maintained on each route during construction.

 

This work is part of the $8.9 million federally funded bridge preventative maintenance contract that will make joint and concrete repairs to approximately 41 bridges on Routes 40, 47, and 130 in various locations across Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer and Salem counties.
