Moorestown PD Alert: Heat Index Could Hit 108

 

MOORESTOWN,NJ, (JULY 28, 2023)(CNBNEWS)--Today, Friday, the Moorestown Township Police Department released a notice from the National Weather Service notifying the public about the dangerously hot conditions expected today and on Saturday. The heat index could be as high as 108.

A heat warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Burlington County and nearby regions until July 29th due to dangerously high temperatures with heat index values reaching up to 108. This extreme heat and humidity can result in heat-related illnesses, especially for those working or spending time outdoors. To stay safe, it is important to stay hydrated, take frequent breaks in air-conditioned areas, and check on friends and family.
