Betsy Ross Way Unveiled at Proprietors Park, Inclement Weather Cancels Tuesday's Concert

GLOUCESTER CITY,NJ (July 26, 2023)(CNBNews)--The entrance to Proprietors Park, located on the banks of the Delaware River, has been named Betsy Ross Way. Ross, who made the first American Flag, married John Grisome at Huggs Tavern in Gloucester City, NJ.

Elizabeth Griscom Ross (née Griscom; January 1, 1752 – January 30, 1836), also known by her second and third married names, Ashburn and Claypoole, was an American upholsterer who was credited by her relatives in 1870 with making the first official U.S. flag.  Source Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/

Unfortunately, the concert scheduled for Tuesday, July 25 at Proprietors Park had to be canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions. However, local weatherman Tussey Tornado predicts a clear sky for next week's concert on Tuesday, August 1. The show will start at 7 PM and end at 9 PM, provided the weather allows. Refreshments will be available at all the concerts, and there will be a Beer Garden. Check back with CNBNews during the week to find out the performers for August.
