AVALON, NJ (July 27, 2023)--(CNBNews)--Avalon municipal tax bills will be mailed on July 28, 2023.  The Borough received the County tax rate on July 17th; now, the software has been updated and information is viewable on this website.  The grace period will be extended until Monday, August 21, 2023.

On Monday, July 17th, the County of Cape May provided Avalon and other communities with the final tax rate, including the municipal, county, and other taxes.  The 2023 combined tax rate for Avalon is .609.  Avalon’s software is being updated with the new information the County provided to start the billing process.  The due date remains August 1, 2023; however, the grace period will be extended.
