Pennsauken Police Department Speed Study River Road/Tinsman Avenue

PENNSAUKEN, NJ (August 1, 2023)(CNBNews)--During the week of July 13, 2023 - July 21, 2023, the Pennsauken Police Department Traffic Unit conducted a speed study in the area of River Road and Tinsman Avenue. Six Delaware Youths Wearing Masks Arrested in Harrison Township, Charged with Burglary

Robert Giles, 71, of Collingswood Pleads Guilty to Possessing Images of Child Sexual Abuse

CAMDEN, N.J. – Camden County, New Jersey, man today admitted possessing images of child sexual abuse, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced. Robert Giles, 71, of Collingswood, New Jersey, pleaded guilty before Chief U.S. District Judge Renée Marie Bumb in Camden federal court to an indictment charging him with one count of possession of child pornography. According to documents filed in this case and statements made in court: On April 15, 2022, agents with FBI served a search warrant at Giles’s residence and discovered electronic devices that belonged to Giles. A forensic examination of those devices revealed over 45,000 unique files containing videos and images of children being sexually abused. Gloucester City Memories: 53 Years Ago Battalion Chief Revelli Made The Ultimate Sacrifice

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (July 28, 2023)(CNBNews)--Battalion Chief Revelli of the Highland Park Volunteer Fire Department made the ultimate sacrifice on July 9, 1970, while responding to a multiple-alarm fire that destroyed the former Dennery Dairies Factory on Orlando Avenue. He, unfortunately, passed away due to a heart attack while returning from the fire. His memory is honored by the Camden County Hero Scholarship Fund. Revelli was instrumental in establishing the Highland Park Volunteer Fire Department, now defunct, located at Highland Blvd. and Sylvan Avenue. 27-Year-Old Englishtown Man Sentenced for Sexually Assault of Minor

TRENTON, N.J. – A Monmouth County, New Jersey, man was sentenced today to 240 months in prison for producing multiple videos depicting him sexually assaulting a minor, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced. Christian Importuna, 27, of Englishtown, New Jersey, previously pleaded guilty by videoconference before U.S. District Judge Peter G. Sheridan to one count of an indictment charging him with production of child pornography. Judge Sheridan imposed the sentence today in Trenton federal court. Born and raised in Gloucester City, he graduated from Gloucester High School and went on to serve in the US Air Force for two years until his honorable discharge. He graduated from the NJ Police Academy in 1960 and became a police officer in Haddon Heights that same year. He retired from the Haddon Heights Police Department in 1988 as Police Chief after 29 years of service to the Borough. NJ Leadership Must Develop Rebates Programs Focused on Low-Income Consumers and Renters Today, the Department of Energy (DOE) released guidance for states to apply for new Home Energy Rebates Program funding. The program, created by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), will distribute a total of $8.8 billion dollars in formula grants for states to deliver home electrification and efficiency rebates to help consumers better afford upgrades that will lower utility bills, improve home comfort and resilience, and reduce indoor and outdoor air pollution. New Jersey is eligible to receive $183 million to distribute to consumers. Rahmir Brown of Atlantic City Pleads Guilty to Armed Robbery of Pleasantville Food Market

MAYS LANDING, NJ – On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, Rahmir Brown, 22, of Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery and second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun. Brown admitted to brandishing a handgun and demanding money from a cashier at Joe’s Food Market in Pleasantville on December 4, 2021. Brown’s plea calls for five years in State Prison subject to the No Early Release Act, meaning he must serve 85% of his sentence before he is eligible for parole. CAMDEN CITY, N.J. – A Gloucester County, man admitted to participating in schemes to negotiate fraudulent checks with forged signatures and use credit cards without authorization, U.S. Attorney Philip R.
