Richard Meyer, of Gloucester City, age 88

Surrounded by his loving family at home, Richard passed peacefully on June 14, 2023, at the age of 88. Lifelong resident of Gloucester City. Loving and devoted husband of 63 years to Alice Meyer (nee Oehlert). Loving father of Kathy Poole (Scott), Billy Meyer (Lisa) and Debbie Riding (Ed). Cherished grandfather of Heather (Joey), Amanda (Anthony), Staci (PJ), Billy Jr. and Kate and great-grandfather of DiAngelo, Juliana and Lorenzo. Beloved brother of Eleanor Grabowski and the late Martha Kimble. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as his dog, Motsi.

Richard was a skilled auto mechanic working many years at the family business, Buss Transmission in Gloucester City. He was an avid collector of all things and loved spending his weekends at the Berlin Farmers Market. He took pride in being able to fix things and helping neighbors in need. 

At his request, burial will be private in Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.
