OFFICER DOWN: 10 K-9 Officers Killed Since Jan. 1, 2023

(CNBNews)(June 19, 2023)--According to The Officer Down website, there have been ten K-9 officers killed since the beginning of the New Year up until June 19, 2023.
A breakdown of the numbers reveals five of the canines were killed by gunfire, one was stabbed to death, two of the canines died of heat stroke, another died from an animal-related cause, and one died in a car crash.
