Medford Forest Fire, 120 Acres are Burning

MEDFORD, NJ (June 3, 2023)(CNBNews)New Jersey Forest Fire Service released an update Saturday morning regarding a forest fire in Medford, Burlington County. Presently 120 acres are burning near Medford Jackson Road; 20 percent of that fire has been contained.
Forty residential structures are threatened; local fire companies are providing structure protection.
A press conference will be held at the Taunton Volunteer Fire Co at 10 a.m. - 631B Gravelly Hollow Rd, Medford, NJ
The smoke from the fire has spread into the surrounding towns. This fire threatens none of those communities.
Evesham Police released the following information regarding the fire. The fire in Medford poses no threat to homes in our community. Smoke will persist in Evesham today and for the next several days.
