The Avalon Lions, as an organization, will participate in the Avalon Memorial Day Parade. The club President, Eileen Donovan, will present a wreath at the services. The parade will step off at 32nd Street and Dune Drive and proceed north to Veterans Plaza where the ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the parade.

Cape May Memorial Day Ceremony

The City of Cape May, in conjunction with the American Legion Post 193 and VFW Post 386, will conduct a Memorial Day Ceremony to honor our fallen heroes. The Remembrance will take place at Soldiers and Sailors Park, located at Gurney Street and Columbia Avenue in Cape May. Immediately following the ceremony in the park, at approximately Noon, the United States Coast Guard Training Center Cape May detachments will participate with Flotilla 82 of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary in presenting the Rifle Salute and launching of the flower boat from Gurney Street Beach.

Parade route:

Begins at University Boulevard & Lehigh Road, onto Whitney Ave, onto High Street, and ending at Glassboro Fire Dept. The solemn ceremony will be held at Town Square Veterans Memorial Plaza.

 

Gloucester City Memorial Day Schedule

Gloucester City Mayor and council will meet at the Veterans Memorial at Broadway and Monmouth Street on Monday at 11 AM o honor those who gave their lives for us so we could live in peace. Residents are urged to attend.

Gloucester Township Memorial Day Schedule

The Memorial Day ceremony will take place at Veterans Memorial (Veterans Park) at 11 am. Mayor David Mayer and Chief of Police David Harkins will be traveling to the eight veteran memorials before culminating the tribute with a service at Veterans Park.

Parade begins 11 am, at Memorial Middle school on Mill Street and ends at Main Street.

Stone Harbor Memorial Day Parade

Monday, May 29th, 2023: at 12 Noon

The parade will step off at 96th Street, leading to a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Women's Civic Club on 96th Street and the beach. After the ceremony, there will be an Open House hosted by the Stephen C. Ludlam American Legion Post 331 on 117th Street and Second Avenue. All are invited to attend and enjoy a guided tour of the building and museums, along with free refreshments.

 

WESTVILLE MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE

 
Please join Mayor Sims and Council as they remember and honor our military men and women on Monday, May 29, 2023, starting at 10 am at Thomas West Park on Delsea Drive. The service includes the Presentation of Flags, singing of the National Anthem, and Presentation of Wreaths.
