On April 25, 2023. Age 37. Of Brooklawn. Formerly of Gloucester City. Predeceased by her parents, Richard “Rick” and Marlene “Bonnie” Brooks. Survived by her loving sisters, Heather L. Brooks and Ariel M. Didier; niece, Delilah; boyfriend, Michael Cipolone; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; her dog Rex and cat Boots, as well as many loving members of the Adams and Cipolone families.

Shelby was a graduate of Gloucester City High School class of 2003. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Shelby was a school teacher in Gloucester City for many years, most recently at Cold Springs Elementary School. Shelby enjoyed living life to the fullest. She was passionate about teaching and always put her students first. She loved gardening, jewelry making, traveling, music, and concerts, and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Relatives, friends and members of the Gloucester City School District are invited to her viewing on Sunday, April 30^th, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, followed by a Funeral Service at 1 PM in the funeral home. The interment will be private.
