Where to watch the Philadelphia 76ers in round 2 of the NBA Playoffs

 

The Philadelphia 76ers have made it to the next round of the NBA playoffs, and it’s time to do the one thing the city knows best, CELEBRATE!

Below are the top places to grab a beer and a bite to eat to watch the game, as well as where to shop for the best Sixers merchandise around town.

            The Cresson Inn, located above Main Street in Manayunk, will serve their full menu for customers to dig into delicious bites as well as daily food and drink specials. Daily specials include $1 Shrimp on Tuesday’s, $1 Wing Wednesday’s, Twisted Thursday’s featuring Rib Eye Steak and delicious sides, as well as Miller Lite Sunday’s. Make sure to check out the newest item on the menu: Bruschetta Cheesesteak. For customers on the go, six packs are available for purchase as well as the bar, which is cash only.

            Lou & Choo’s Lounge, Philadelphia’s premier black-owned bar, will host a variety of events throughout the games, including Karaoke, Open Mic Night, and more. They will also serve their full food menu, curated by Chef Bruce Palmer, featuring Stuffed Fried Shrimp, Wings, Tacos and more. Drink specials include $12 cocktails, and new daily specials that are announced on their social media leading up to the games. If it goes to game 5, Tuesday will feature a $1 Shrimp Night as well as Margaritas and Martini’s.

Lilly’s Ferry Bar & Grill, the newest restaurant to open in Old City, is celebrating the Sixers making it to the second round of playoffs with a special happy hour, available Monday through Friday’s from 5-7 p.m.! Happy Hour specials include a Wings & Yeung’s Combo ($10.99), Soup, Salad and Sandwich Combo ($10.99), Domestic drafts and bottles ($4.99), Hard Cider ($4.99), and Specialty Cocktails ($8.99). The Wings & Yeung’s will be available for the entirety of all games.

            Brooklyn Bowl, located in Fishtown, is celebrating the Sixers making it to the next round with specials for game 3 (Cinco De Mayo), and game 6 (if necessary). During Cinco De Mayo and game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Brooklyn Bowl will have Frozen Margaritas ($9) available for purchase, as well as delicious Street Tacos (3 for $8), available with Carne Asada or Roasted Vegetables. If a game 6 is needed, specials will be announced on social media for beer and food. Bowling is available during all games on the first floor of the building. 

 

Tranquility Brewing Company (inside The Fuge)

Tranquility Brewing Company, located inside The Fuge in Warminster, is honoring Sixers power forward and center Joel Embiid with the release of their newest ale, the Embid Ale. This new beer is a light summer lager that is light on it’s feet, but big in heart, like Embiid himself. The ale is served in 5oz (3.75$), 12oz ($6.50), or 16oz pours ($8) and will be available during all Sixers games, in addition to their rotating draft list. Tranquility Brewing is kid and pet-friendly and has seating available inside where there are numerous flat screen tv’s for viewing the game, as well as an outdoor area. 

 

Odd Logic Brewing Company

            Odd Logic Brewing, Bristol’s newest brewery and beer garden, is going all out this year for the Sixers as they make it to the next round with $2 off craft beers, as well as cocktails. During all games, the brewery will be playing the game on all eight of their televisions, including four 70” flat screens. In addition to showing the games, Odd Logic will have the volume on for those who don’t want to just watch the game, but also listen to it. Currently, Odd Logic does not serve food but check out their social media as they feature a different food truck everyday for customers to enjoy.

During all Sixers games, Off The Rail will have $3 Coors Light cans available as well as Happy Hour from 4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday! Happy Hour specials include $3 Domestic Beers and $4 Wines, as well as their new daily specials available from 7pm-close. Daily specials include $6 Margarita Mondays, $4 Twisted Tea Tuesdays, $5 White Claw Wednesdays, $3 Michelob Ultra Thursday’s, and $7 Bloody Mary Sunday’s.
