U.S. Army Veteran Lawrence Spellman Honored

 

VOORHEES TOWNSHIP, NJ --The Camden County Board of Commissioners gathered in Voorhees Township for a recent Town Hall Meeting and honored U.S. Army Veteran Lawrence Spellman. Spellman, a police officer for Voorhees Township, served in the Army from 2009 to 2012, after which he was honorably discharged. During his service, Spellman was deployed to Iraq where he was involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn.

During his time in the Army, Spellman received several awards including the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Badge, and the Iraq Campaign Medal with a Campaign Star. To see photos from the event,
