Construction to close road in Pine Hill
(Lindenwold, NJ) – Camden County will enhance the drainage system on West Branch Avenue from Monday, March 27 to Friday, April 14, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
From Monday, March 27 to Wednesday, March 30, West Branch Avenue will be closed between Blackwood-Clementon and Erial roads. For the remainder of the project, there will be alternating traffic with flaggers.
Roadwork to shift lanes in Camden City
(Lindenwold, NJ) – PSE&G Electric will continue their manhole and conduit project on Market streets in Camden from Monday, March 27 to Friday, March 31, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
There will be a lane shift on Market Street between North 10th Street and Haddon Avenue.
Roadwork to close road in Gloucester Township
(Lindenwold, NJ) – The Gloucester Township Municipal Utilities Authority will be paving Orr Road in Gloucester Township from Monday, March 27 to Friday, March 31, between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.
There will be a full road closure of Orr Road between College and Freeway Drives, and Peter Cheeseman Road is being used as the detour route.
“Since crews will be working in an area with heavy traffic, motorists should plan to take alternate routes during work hours to avoid delays,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
The Camden County Department of Public Works maintains over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold, where personnel is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to serve the residents of Camden County.
