Rowan's Erin Renshaw and Elaina Corson Receive NJAC Awards

PITMAN, NJ – Rowan’s Erin Renshaw (Washington Twp., NJ/Washington Twp.) was named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week and Elaina Corson (Hainesport, NJ/Rancocas Valley Regional) was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week in the conference’s women’s lacrosse awards that were announced today.  Screen Shot 2022-02-12 at 18.49.26

Renshaw totaled nine goals and one assist in two wins last week, extending Rowan's winning streak to four. The senior had four goals in the 16-11 victory at Scranton, with three in the first half, while she also picked up four draw controls. Renshaw then tied her career-high with five goals in the 17-7 win over Stevenson while adding an assist and recording three ground balls, three draw controls, and one caused turnover. She currently leads the Profs in goals with 21 this season.  

Corson notched four goals and one assist on the week. The freshman attack player had a goal and an assist in the win at Scranton. She followed that with three goals and three ground balls in the victory over Stevenson to give her 16 goals thus far this season. 

 

Rowan, which has won four in a row and is 6-2 on the season, hosts Cabrini on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
