Katherine B. Richmond, of Haddon Twp.; Para Professional at Mary Bray School, Mt. Ephraim; Dry Cleaner Manager

On March 5, 2023 Katherine (Kay) B. Richmond (nee Morton) passed away, age 86 of Haddon Township. May 27, 1936 to March 5, 2023. Beloved Wife of the late Gilbert; daughter of the late Albert and Sarah Morton; Mother of Mary Kay Schafer, Linda (Corri) DiBagno, Marlene Richmond, Len Screenshot 2023-03-09 at 21.13.08 (Denise) Richmond, David (Kristina) Richmond. Sister of Rita (Dick) McShane; Joan (late Sam) Cordner; Sally (Jim) Adams, Albert (Eileen) Morton and James (Marion) Morton; Grandmother of Charles Schafer, Matthew (Katie) Sparks, Dawson Richmond, Kyle (Patsy) Kroger and great grandchildren Madison and Nathan. Also, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

She was employed as a Para Professional at Mary Bray School in Mt. Ephraim and 32 years as a Manager at a Dry Cleaners in Collingswood. Katherine was an active parishioner of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish of Haddon Township (formerly known as Holy Saviour). She was a 1953 Graduate of Camden Catholic High School. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and again Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the Healey Funeral Home, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 AM at Holy Saviour Catholic Church (St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish), 50 Emerald Avenue, Westmont, NJ followed by her Committal Service at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. In lieu of flowers; Masses and donations to Alzheimer’s Foundation (www.alz.org).
