WOODBURY, NJ (CNBNews)(March 10, 2023)--This week Inspira Health announced the last steel beam has been installed in their new $71 million building in Woodbury (formerly Underwood Hospital.) The current hospital building will be remodeled to provide medical offices and a family medical center.
Inspira's Warren Moore, executive vice president stated that for five years the health enterprise has been working with Woodbury City and Gloucester County officials to redevelop the former hospital area to improve medical facilities for the community. The new building, which is referred to as a "satellite campus" is planned to provide a 19-bed emergency facility, a 20-bed inpatient behavioral health center, and a new EMS station.
It is planned that the building will be completed in early 2024.
