Phillip (Glenn) Young, 93, of Mount Ephraim/Gloucester City

Phillip (Glenn) Young, 93, of Mount Ephraim, NJ, formerly of Gloucester City, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

He is predeceased by his first wife, Anna (Jorett) Young of 52 years, and his siblings, Jean Buck and Ruth McWilliams.  He is survived by his wife, Theresa Young and his children, Donna Holzmann (Greg), Carol Heald (Charles -deceased), Mark Young (Sue)and Susan Stefan (Bruce), his grandchildren,Jeffrey Stefan (Leslie), Ashley Stefan (Brian) and Cody Young, his great grandchildren, Peyton and Lacey, as well as, four nephews.


Glenn was raised Baptist, was a past Masons member and served his country in the US Army. He retired as a plant manager from a Texaco refinery where he worked for 28 years. In his earlier years, he and his family enjoyed boating in Maryland and spending summers at their trailer and the beach in Ocean City. He also took great pride in his vegetable garden.


The cremation and memorial services were private. Arrangements under the direction of the Mahaffey-Milano Funeral Home, 11 East Kings Highway, Mount Ephraim, NJ
