RAMS MUSTARO JOINS 1000 POINT CLUB--Gloucester Catholic’s RJ Mustaro scored 45 points to become the 16th Rams basketball player to reach the 1,000 career points plateau as the Rams beat Clayton 108-65 at their home court in Gloucester City. According to the team’s Twitter account, the milestone point came in the second quarter. The 45-point effort also established a school high for a single game. In doing so, he broke Ryan Roney 35 point school record for points in a game.

LIONS DANCE TEAM IN THE SPOTLIGHT—Gloucester High’s Dance Team will perform at the Philadelphia 76ers/Cleveland Cavaliers game in Philadelphia on Wednesday, February 15 at 7 PM. GHS Students who meet the Second marking period's academic performance, attendance, and behavioral goals will have the opportunity to go to that game.

Barrera scored 17 points in Saturday's game (February 4) at Roberts Wesleyan.
GLOUCESTER CITY GIRL IN THE SPOTLIGHT--Mercy College women's basketball freshman Angelina Barrera (Gloucester City, N.J./Gloucester Catholic) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Basketball Honor Roll for Week 11.
Barrera averaged a team-high 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game on 73.3 percent shooting as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The freshman opened the week with a game-high and career-high 14 points and 11 rebounds on 7-of-8 shooting with two blocks. The forward ended the week with 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting, two rebounds, and one block at UDC on Saturday.
The award is the first for Barrera this season, and the Mavericks have now earned 13 medals on the year.
