LANCASTER CITY, PA (FEBRUARY 24, 2023)--On Thursday, February 23, 2023, at approximately 3:00 PM Lancaster City Bureau of Police Officers, received a call stating that four males wearing all black, with hoods up and masks covering their faces, ran into an address in the 800 block of E Orange St. Lancaster City Officers responded to the address and Officer Caple knocked on the front door and the door opened.

Officer Caple observed a male holding a handgun at the top of the stairs inside the residence. The male quickly retreated inside the home and out of view of the officers. Officers were then notified of a “Shots Fired” call in the 1000 block of E Orange St (Manheim Township Jurisdiction), which is only two blocks east of their location. The “Shots Fired” call was reported just moments before the four males were observed running from that direction into the residence in the 800 block of E Orange St.

Officers were concerned that there could possibly be a shooting victim inside the residence, so they entered the residence to verify no one was injured. A window was open on the third floor to the roof. Sackiwa Ntuli was found hiding on the roof of the residence. Ntuli was taken into custody for his Attempted Homicide warrant. Manheim Township Officers located shell casings related to their shots fired call.

This is an active investigation and there is a potential for additional charges based on this incident. This is great police work conducted by C Platoon!
