NORTHERN LIBERTIES HOLIDAY POP-UP SHOP
By Northern Liberties Business Improvement District
At North Bowl, 909 N. 2nd Street
Saturday, December 10, 2022, 11:00am to 4:00pm
This popular holiday shopping event will feature 20+ small local vendors and makers from around the Philadelphia region, popping up at one of N. 2nd Street’s premier venues with gifts, decor, fashions, treats and more. This year, the market will be both indoors and outdoors – rain or shine – with vendors filling North Bowl’s outdoor patio, indoor first floor, and second floor mezzanine.
Fill those stockings with vegan brownies, buttery cupcakes, candles, natural soaps, sunglasses, Northern Liberties branded merch, and so much more. Please the pickiest of family or friends with hand-made leather belts, carefully crocheted caps, and hand-sewn fashion. For the tots, there will be Letters to Santa and an ornament making station. Grab a photo with Krampus for a lasting holiday memory. Additionally, while visiting the District, shoppers are invited to make a day of it in Northern Liberties by enjoying a meal, hot beverage, baked goods or Christmas cocktail at one of the District’s dozens of restaurants, bakeries and cafes. The District’s existing favorite retail shops will also be ready with gifts for all ages.
“Our annual holiday market features several neighborhood businesses and lots of locally made goodness,” said Northern Liberties Business Improvement District Executive Director Kristine Kennedy. “Once again, we are proud to offer this venue for small enterprises, many of which are Black- and/or women-owned, to discover Northern Liberties while providing a chance for people to support them while enjoying a day in our neighborhood.”
For the third annual Northern Liberties Holiday Pop-up, the North Bowl patio will come alive with approximately a dozen small businesses, makers, crafters and entrepreneurs. The indoor first floor will host five, and the mezzanine will feature a dozen along with North Bowl’s hallmark video arcade. The bowling alley, bar and kitchen will all be open at noon and gift certificates for bowling packages will be available for sale.
