Jack was a United States Army veteran. Following his father's career path, he was a dedicated employee with PSE&G for 36 years, retiring as chief lineman.  Jack was also a longtime, faithful member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Oaklyn, NJ.

Jack’s biggest role in life was his dedication to his wife, Mary Lou and son Jack.  They were married for 48 years prior to her death in 2015.  He was her steady companion and her chauffeur. He cherished his role as a loving and dedicated father to their only son.  He was a strong man, barely sick a day in his life and the ultimate caregiver.  When he married Mary Lou, and settled in Oaklyn, he welcomed his mother-in-law Mary Anderson into their home.  He stepped up to take care of her, Mary Lou, and Jack, as they all faced health issues at the end of their lives.

Jack enjoyed traveling with Mary Lou and family, and had a special love for the New Jersey beaches, especially Long Beach Island, NJ. He was a life-long baseball fan, faithfully watching all the Phillies games and always welcomed a cold beer at many family parties.  He never missed a milestone or special event, especially when it came to his extended family – always ready with a hug, a card, and a gift. He will be missed greatly but his loving presence will remain in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, January 2, 2023, 10 AM to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM.  Inurnment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Samaritan Hospice at www.samaritannj.org
