Rider University is hosting the Garden State Esports State Championship on Saturday, December 17. The University released the following statement about the games. 

We are one step closer to crowning our 5 Garden State Esports state champions at Rider University on December 17.  Come see schools from around the state compete to be state champions in League of Legends, Rocket League, and Smash Bros! Compete against friends and family in our walkup Smash Tournament or virtual dodge ball area and feel what it's like to be part of the esports action!

Meet college program directors from NJ and beyond to learn how you can follow your passion for gaming into college.

Meet professionals from Gen.G and Cloud 9 and hear about their path to pro.

Join our Esports 101 learning sessions for parents, school administrators, faculty, and coaches to learn about the value and opportunities in the scholastic, collegiate, and professional esports scenes.

No matter why you come, we know you'll have a great time and leave knowing what makes Garden State Esports member schools and students so special: passion.

Food is available on-site, or bring your lunch! Parking is free! The event is in the Bart Luedeke Center at Rider!
