Catherine attended the convent from the ages of 14 to 21 where she devoted her time to becoming a religious woman of the Sisters of Christian Charity. After graduating from Immaculata High School in 1961 and earning her associate arts degree at Assumption College, she went on to study at St. Joseph’s University on a Fulbright Scholarship.
